The eight major trade unions (CFDT, CGT, FOR, CFTC, CGC, FSU, UNSA and Solidarity) decided yesterday, "the principle of a massive mobilization of employees in early 2009, including the employment, purchasing power and "the conditions for economic recovery." In a joint statement, they noted "an increase in problems related to purchasing power and employment", which "confirms that employees, retirees, the unemployed are the first to pay a crisis that they are not responsible. FP advocates a "massive inter strike, but the CGT and the CFDT advocate rather demonstrations.
